Hector Andrew & Co

Hector Andrew & CoHector Andrew started milking cows on the farm in 1947. Now 60 years on, the family farm still milks cows, pasteurises the milk and delivers it in glass bottles and cartons all over Sheffield. The milk on the supermarket shelves takes almost a week to get from cow to customer but the milk delivered from the farm will have come from their cows the same day, and buying it helps the farm to carry on with the work it's done for over 60 years in maintaining drystone walls and pasture land in this area of outstanding natural beauty. The farm's milk round also delivers potatoes for the next door farm, eggs from Sheffield and the farm's own orange juice.
